So, who has and or has done some resolutions for thier car?
My list, started last fall, was this:
1: Finally fix my jacked up RF fender/bumper. (done!)
2: Get a new muffler, to tame some of the long tube Hooker headers and their ORY. Bought a Hooker Aerochamber and new chrome tailpipes. (done!)
3: Get my car a "mail order tune" by "Tuned By Frost" of LS1.com fame. I've read many rave revues from this mail order tuner on that forum. Will finally lose my SES light for my EGR/AIR/Catalyst deletes I've done.
Anyone else, chime in!

I don't know if it was necessarily a resolution, but I've managed to do some significant wrenching on about everything in our fleet. I've been wanting to go through the ignition system and rebuild the carburetor in the wagon for months and finally did that. The tune-up made a tremendous difference in the way the car runs, but my 1st attempt at rebuilding the carb helped the lousy idle but I now have a flat spot just as the secondaries kick-in which I'll need to address. The GTP is getting a fresh tranny and the Honda got new rear wheel hubs.
So, yes - I've been addressing issues that have been put off for a while!

^^^Excellent, Scott. Carburetors have always been tricky for me, seems like I can never get the hesitation removed, or I will sometimes have the flat spot on the secondary action as well.
Another resolution for me is to take the "go-fast" parts off the 400 I have on my engine stand (4X heads w/roller rockers, camshaft/lifters/pushrods, distributor, Offenhauser air-gap intake and 4 bbl Holley, headers). This is the engine that came out of my GTO that was totalled in Dec. 1998. I can't bring myself to put the whole engine in for fear of a knock from the bearings. Well, maybe I will because that engine .030" over and has forged pistons. We'll see.

Forgot to say that I did get my PCM tuned, after over 3 years it is strange to get in my car and have the SES light off. Also, she feels quicker over 3500 RPM on to my normal shift point of ~6100.

So, I ended up putting the GTO engine in my Le Mans, so far so good. No knocking, no overheating, and oil pressure is good. Driven her about 500 miles now. See the new thread I made today for a couple pictures.
